#Project Jeff Fischer
One-on-one and group SAT prep from tutors who recently scored in the 98th percentile — and know exactly what the current digital test demands.
A&S SAT was started by two recent high school graduates who recently scored in the 98th percentile on the digital SAT. We know the current test inside and out.
Our approach is diagnostic-driven. Every student starts with a full diagnostic session so we know exactly where their points are being lost. Sessions are then built around those weak areas, not a generic curriculum that wastes time on things they already know.
We keep classes small and private lessons personalized. Sessions are continually tailored to the students need by hand grading student homework and finding weak points.
Two tutors. One focused on Math, one on Reading & Writing. Both scored in the 98th percentile on the current digital SAT.
Private lessons for focused one-on-one work. Group classes for structured prep at an accessible price.
Best for students who want focused, one-on-one attention on their specific weak areas and are serious about hitting a target score.
Best for students who want structured and holistic SAT prep at an affordable price and who learn well in a collaborative environment.
Every curriculum starts with a diagnostic. Weak areas identified in session one determine where the rest of the time goes.
| Week | Focus | Session Content |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Diagnostic | Full timed diagnostic. Score breakdown by section and sub-skill. Identify top 3 weak areas. Set a realistic target score. |
| Week 2 | Weak area #1 | Deep dive into the primary weak area. Concept teaching, worked examples, 20-min timed practice set, and review. |
| Week 3 | Weak area #2 | Same format — concept teaching, worked examples, timed practice. Compare to Week 2 performance and track improvement. |
| Week 4 | Weak area #3 | Address the third weak area. Begin connecting all three — students often make the same conceptual error across sections. |
| Week 5 | Cross-section strategy | Pacing, guessing rules, question-order strategy, elimination techniques. Applicable across both Math and Reading & Writing. |
| Week 6 | Targeted practice | Mixed practice set from all three weak areas. Identify what has improved and what still needs work going into the final stretch. |
| Week 7 | Test simulation | 35 minutes of timed full-section practice (Math or R&W, whichever is weaker), followed by 25 minutes of immediate error review. |
| Week 8 | Final review | Review remaining error patterns by category. Final reinforcement of weakest area. Mental prep and strategy for test day. |
| Week | Focus | Session Content |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Diagnostic | Timed diagnostic — one full section (Math or R&W based on student priority). Score breakdown, identify top 2 weak areas, set target. |
| Week 2 | Weak areas | Address both weak areas in one session — 25 minutes each. Focus on highest-impact concepts first. Homework assigned. |
| Week 3 | Strategy + practice | Pacing, elimination, and guessing rules. Mixed timed practice from both weak areas. Review homework from Week 2. |
| Week 4 | Final push | Timed section practice followed by error review by category. Final reinforcement of weakest remaining area. |
| Week | Focus | Session Content |
|---|---|---|
| Week 1 | Diagnostic | Full diagnostic test. Group score breakdown. Identify common weak areas across students that will shape the curriculum. |
| Week 2–3 | Reading & Writing | Evidence-based questions, grammar rules, vocabulary in context, and passage structure. Timed practice each session. |
| Week 4–5 | Math | Algebra, advanced math, data analysis, and problem-solving strategy. Timed practice each session with group review. |
| Week 6 | Test strategy | Pacing, guessing rules, question order, and elimination techniques applicable across both sections. |
| Week 7 | Test simulation | Full section under real timed conditions, followed by group error review broken down by question type. |
| Week 8 | Final review | Targeted reinforcement of remaining weak areas. Test-day strategy and mental preparation. |
No hidden fees. First diagnostic session is always free.
The first session is always free. We'll identify exactly where your points are being lost and recommend the right program.
